What can I say, I am so honored and pleased to have had the opportunity to interview the one and only “Golden Voice of Africa” Salif Keita. You are going to LOVE this interview!!! Salif Keita is one of Africa’s true treasures. In this interview we are able to talk openly about how it felt for him to grow up as an albino in Africa, where prejudice still runs deep. I was so moved by his story and he is one of the most human beings I have had the pleasure of meeting. We had 3 days together during this time, sharing meals, walking in New York and of course seeing him perform in Central Park. I can tell you that Salif had a profound effect on me personally and in knowing him, I know that it is possible to embody both greatness and humility.
